PRODUCT VIDEO | Being a part of Reolink’s original launch for their Argus Pro home security camera, we were delighted to be asked to help launch their most recent iteration: the Argus Pro 3. The client wanted humor with a relatable character that fell in line with the targeted demographic. With a great cast and crew, we were able to give their new product the treatment it deserved, helping make this a sellout product for the Reolink brand.
BRAND VIDEO | Working with the tire production arm of Sumitomo Industries, we wanted to create an evergreen brand video that helped to educate while instilling trust and brand recognition. Incorporating traditional Japanese patterns as our design palette, we gave a modern look to the commercial while keeping it steeped in the company’s rich and extensive cultural history.
BRAND VIDEO | Collaborating with another market agency, STELLAR, I worked closely with their team to help create a brand video that matched their new company direction. It was important that this touchpoint represented their brand totems of childhood creativity, forward thinking technology and a ”small-but-mighty” footprint.
PROMO | Bala came to us with a new recovery drink product that was developed to give a more natural and holistic approach to recovery, energy, and overall better health. This husband and wife team wanted a lifestyle spot directed at athletes and those with little time and an active lifestyle.
BRAND VIDEO | To give ALLMAX the updated Brand video they desired, we looked to our brand differentiation strategy. We ditched the conventional dark space void of most battery brand aesthetics and used their bright and poppy blue and yellow to give an eye-catching look while limiting our 3D effects to the battery roll and reveal. This gave us the opportunity to work in practical elements that give the genuine and real-world feel the client was looking for.
COMMERCIAL | Square and Zivelo teamed up tp introduce a new restaurant software designed for Square to empower the customer. With more and more customers wanting more control over their ordering experience, Ordo provides a platform that works with existing Square hardware.
Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff
BRAND VIDEO | Thompson Tee, a brand well-known for its sweat-free t-shirts, asked for an updated brand video that felt a little more stylized and polished than their regular online how-to videos. We decided to go with a minimal execution of representative sets that helped focus on the “reveal card” that gave the viewer a look into a shirt that promises to keep sweat invisible.
COMMERCIAL | Seed Legend came to us with a new product that provided a safe, eco-friendly alternative to other household cleaning and grooming supplies. We wanted a host that spoke to the pain points of the target demographic while also providing a little education and humor along the way. The final result was a spot that helped the client reach their fundraising goal, along with multiple informative product videos for their website.
COMMERCIAL | Serving as a brand video and commercial simultaneously, Evadrop wanted a video that had character, charm and creativity. We wrote and cast “Smart Bob” to serve as a brand ambassador, giving way to future campaigns and media opportunities for an incredible innovative smart shower system.
Don’t Be Dramatic
PRODUCT VIDEO | UAG was looking for a video for their website and trade shows that really emphasized the durability and ruggedness of their products, specifically their MacBook Pro PLASMA case. While it protects the laptop from scratches, denting and debris, I wanted to focus on what it was really protecting. Cinematic music tied with 2300fps cinematography provided the drama that proved unnecessary when protected by UAG.
TRADE SHOW VIDEO | For HPC’s annual conference, they were looking for something to excite and hype this year’s attendees for next year’s conference. Being that people come from all over the globe, HPC wanted something that tied high-power computing to the human connection. The result was a crossroad of technology and human spirit that covered their main categories of Medicine, Energy, Climate & Food Production and Self-Driving Cars.
PRODUCT VIDEO | In association with McCann Agency, I was able to craft and direct a commercial focused on Verizon’s business clients and their expanding LIFECYCLE service for streaming and digital media. Together with McCaan and Verizon, we explored the themes of partnership, connection and service to show that Verizon was ready for the future of television and ready to handle the changes to come.
ANIMATION | Ecos is an all-natural household product company that needed a fresh new start to their rebranding efforts. Their first marketing tool was to launch the Ecos Breeze, an air deodorizer and purifier that beat out the competition by actually cleaning the air on a molecular level rather than just masking. To keep with the family-friend image, we created a fun and light animation that focused on the technology as well as the different use cases where Ecos Breeze provided the perfect solution.
PRODUCT VIDEO | ZIVELO, the leader in the iconic kiosks in McDonalds, Wendy’s and Burger King, wanted a video that served as a marketing tool, aimed at garnering more investor interest while making a clear brand statement. While the initial push from the client was to go with a simple line-animated explainer video, we helped craft a much more polished and sophisticated animation worthy of their brand and the attention of perspective investors.
IN-STORE MEDIA | To give something engaging and entertaining to watch while in line, Nektar wanted a video that could inform and excite waiting customers about their most popular products. We decided to use fresh ingredients in slow motion along with bold bright text to create a dynamic and colorful in-store visual experience.
SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEO | Amber & Ash is a tech accessory company that leads with a more fashionable take on the ever-growing phone cover market. Working with their Creative Department, we created a social media video that coincided with their current campaign aesthetic to keep the brand cohesive, current and fresh.
SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN | Working with our client, Budding Culture, we helped create a campaign for Visit Japan; the U.S. wing of the Japan National Tourism Organization. Being that Visit Japan wanted to entice Instagram and Facebook influencers, we focused on one of the top shared social media subjects: Food. And since Sushi and Ramen were found to be one of the more significant categories, we created an online competition drawing the line between #TeamSushi and #TeamRamen. The incredibly successful campaign was nominated for an Addy and went on to bring more than 20,000 new followers to the Visit Japan Instagram page.
Let’s Be Clear
ONLINE VIDEO | The technology for non-yellowing phones has been sought after for many years. When D-Armor approached us with said tech, we were excited to help launch it with a fun, eye-catching comparative video to prove the power of Clear.
REBRAND | ReLeash was looking for a rebranding to take a fun and slightly gimmick-driven image to something more fashionable and edgy. To attract a more youthful crowd in hopes of gaining influencer posts, we hired models and created a look with the photographer to give a dramatic look with more cinematic flare to both the photos and website video.
It Takes A Village
COMMERCIAL | An app aimed at combining all mobile communications into one streamlined experience, Messagehub wanted a commercial that clearly showed the product and its features. I wanted to make sure the human touch and the importance of communication were emphasized and built into the narrative, giving purpose to the product while tapping into the necessity of simplified communication.
BRAND VIDEO | Reolink is a Chinese home security company looking to make a name for themselves in an already highly saturated market. To help them stand out we aimed to campaign on a focus of environment; the fact that regardless of where you were, Reolink could provide a solution to every security problem.
Guard Dog
PRODUCT VIDEO | Smanos carries an array of home security options that were ahead of the game for quite some time. Working with the client, it was important to them that we kept the family unit as the driving point. Being that dogs are the classic version of home security, we wanted to give the dog’s perspective as his job just got a lot easier, thanks to the Smanos home security system.
KICKSTARTER | For Outdoor Tech’s next generation in booth speakers, they wanted to create a Kickstarter campaign to involve their fans and community on the production of the Turtle Shell’s latest iteration. Because of their campy fun brand aesthetic, we came up with a classic retro-styled superhero concept akin to the 1960’s Batman series to help reinstate their brand and place them among the most popular bluetooth speakers around.
On Guard
PRODUCT VIDEO | Liquipel is well-known for their innovation solutions in gadget protection for phones, tablets and smart watches. To provide a visual teaser in stores like Walmart and Sam’s Club, we created two visually stimulating spots to help stop people in their tracks to bring a higher brand awareness and increase sales while showing off just how rugged this phone cases were.
PRODUCT VIDEO | Tao Clean is known in the dental industry for their offering of self-cleaning toothbrushes. They decided to step into the make-up industry. providing the same amount of cleanliness and protection to make-up brushes. The combination of 2D and 3D animation was to give an attractive aesthetic while also giving a view of the product that could be seen from multiple viewpoints even while the machine is cleaning.
PHOTOGRAPHY | As a former dance instructor, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to teach, take class and create with some of the most talented and amazing dancers in multiple genres. When I was asked to direct a photoshoot for the next chapter for Boogiezone - my hip-hop alma mater - I was ecstatic to say the least. To include the multiple facets of creativity under one new venture; DNA #industryisland, I wanted to create the actions of each craft using dance as the main vessel of communication while providing a cohesive emotion through color, fabric and air.
BRAND ADOPTION | Forge54 is an annual event where participants in the advertising and marketing industry volunteer an entire weekend and adopt a non-profit, providing them with over $100,000 of marketing material that they couldn’t otherwise afford. From logos, commercials, brand guidelines to new business and marketing strategies, we repositioned numerous non-profits to give them a better chance at community outreach and brand awareness. Serving on the board for 2 years, I oversaw the video team for The Illumination Foundation and Ocean Institute, providing them with new marketing videos from conception to delivery, in just 54 hours.
